The project involved a comprehensive expansion of the airport’s maneuvering area, aimed at improving operational safety and enhancing the capacity of Wrocław Airport.

The scope included: Construction of new pavements, reconstruction of existing taxiways and airside pavements, expansion of site utilities including sewer, stormwater, navaids, electrical, and teletechnical.

A comprehensive upgrade of the airfield ground lighting (AGL) system was designed, along with the installation of apron floodlighting masts to improve operational visibility.

The project covered the design and construction of: A parallel taxiway to the runway, a rapid exit taxiway and a parking apron with capacity for 12 Code C aircraft and 1 Code F aircraft, as well as a dedicated aircraft de-icing pad.

All airside pavements were designed to accommodate the full range of aircraft types, including those operating on domestic, European, and intercontinental routes.

The documentation was prepared in accordance with the requirements of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
